About Contech Services Ltd

Formed in 1986 Contech Services Ltd manufactures reconstituted stone products for the construction industry.

Using traditional concrete ingredients we us a patented process that involves wet casting under pressure to produce a product that has the structural strength of concrete with a surface that is indistinguishable from natural stone.

The product's high compressive strength minimises the likelihood of accidental site damage and provides hard wearing edges which are free from spalling and similar deterioration.

Furthermore Contech is not subject to the limitations of shape, size and thickness which apply to products made by the semi-dry cast stone process.

Cladding panels, window dressings, architectural features, ashlar blocks, paving flags... everything can now be produced in the same material, by the same process, for a fully co-ordinated built environment.

With performance characteristics which exceed those required by BS1217, Contech is the best available substitute for natural stone and, as such has been used for many years in the UK and by our overseas licensees.
